 Verified Loved our tour We did the black cab tour of Derry for 1.5 hours then Diarmuid took us up to see the restored stone fort on Greenan Mountain. Was a fabulous couple of hours..Due to an injury I couldn’t walk around Derry and his tour was so informative about the history of the city - we learnt so muchDiarmuid was an absolute gentleman, great driver and happy to answer any questions - his transport was immaculate.  Verified Diarmuid is the best! Diarmuid was our driver and we were so lucky to have him! He was full of knowledge of history and wit and took us everywhere we wanted to go on the Antrim coast leaving from Derry. We also asked him to drive us to Dublin.I have recommended him to friends who are also impressed. We had three different drivers with a different company and they were very good but Diarmuid was by far the best. And his luxury Mercedes is superb. Over the two days he got to know all five of us, and we got to know him and learned about his life in Derry from the Troubles through today.  Verified Legenderry IS legendary My sister and I were looking for a tour guide/driver to take us from Derry to Belleek. Diarmuid was the perfect person for the job. He suggested additional nearby stops that made the day complete, including Donegal Castle, a tweed weaving demonstration, and the ancient ring fort of Grianan of Aleach. His vehicle was very clean and comfortable, he is an excellent driver, and he even provided us with bottled water and snacks (including making sure we had free state Taytos). We particularly appreciated the history he shared with us about each of the places we visited and his personal insights enriched the experience.

 Verified Diarmuid is a fantastic driver and guide! Diarmuid is a fantastic driver and guide! The van he used for our trip was beautiful and provided plenty of space for the six of us and our many bags. We cannot recommend him enough!While researching various transportation options, both public and private, for a trip from Sligo up to the Giant’s Causeway, we found Diarmuid at Legenderry. Our initial inquiry was for a ride from point A to point B, however, after giving him an overview of our itinerary, Diarmuid suggested various towns and locations along the way to visit, which turned our basic ride into a wonderful trip full of Irish history and good craic! Diarmuid also brought us down from the Causeway to Belfast, where we were sad to part ways.  Verified Second Trip. We hired Legenderry a second time because our first trip, last year, with Diarmuid was incredible. This year Diarmuid picked up 7 family members with our “ton of luggage” from Belfast Airport and comfortably delivered us to our Londonderry hotels. Bright and early the next morning we enjoyed a day-long tour with Diarmuid through Donegal and out to the coast. It was again a perfect tour experience. With Diarmuid you get much more than a driver, you get a tour guide, historian, cultural observer and a friend. Bishop’s Gate Hotel recommended Legendary Chuffeur, and Diarmuid was an incredible guide to Rathmullan, Wild Ireland, Giants Causeway, and much more, and then to Dublin. Diarmuid’s assistance finding our family he in Rathmullan was invaluable. He was knowledgeable about the history of Derry and Donegal, spoke to us extensively about the history of Northern Ireland, the Troubles, Derry architecture, murals, etc. We will definitely come back to Derry and ask for his help again. Our trip was a bit off the beaten path with delightful surprises such as the Slieve League Cliffs, ring fort and the perfumery in The Burren. He was so thoughtful,  caring and put us at ease when we had a very long flight delay, he also collected wedding guests from Belfast at the same time. On the wedding day he was absolutely perfect taking the groom and ushers to the church and coming back and collecting us after, he waited and drove us from the church to the venue and came back the following day to collect us. He also helped the bridesmaids with umbrellas as they left the church, so kind of him. I would highly recommend Diarmuid and his services, he made everything so easy and stress free.
